Being born to a musical family, Mikaelle was from infancy indoctrinated and surrounded by influences that ranged from Traditional Folk Music to Pop, R&B and Hard Rock. When his interest towards music was noticed by the family, he was enrolled in a music school’s piano class, interest of which he quickly lost due to the constraints and rigidness of the educational system. His determination and belief led him to play learnt by ear pop hits at the time as his examination pieces.

During the time of learning classical compositions and peeking the doors of modern music, his musical taste would differ from 90’s Rap to Metal of 2000’s, and when he was gifted an electric drum kit for his birthday, it opened a completely new palette of sounds for him to recreate and reflect from his rhythmically rich records.

Upon request of a bass guitar as his music school’s graduation gift, denial of such made him strive to look for a more melodic and modern sound reflection elsewhere. When given a chance he purchased an electric guitar on the sly. Having written a handful of melodies on piano, the guitar

became his ultimate vessel to dive into the world of writing songs in the way he desired.

Into Classic Rock at the time, his songs would resemble the same structure and attitude but with a modern application and sound, leading him to forming a band of three. As a drummer/vocalist, writing material at home on guitar and bringing them to the band to play would project his songs to him in a collective situation, expanding the vision to his potential.

Having moved to the UK to study, he confidently chose Music Technology as one of his A-level subjects, which joined the puzzle of technical knowledge in practice and studio experience, as well as gifting him an opportunity to create works of different classifications and alien to him genres. During his studies, he played many shows and congregated some of them, which gave him a rich experience of playing to the public.

When moved and settled in London, he began to treat his musicality seriously and worked many hours perfecting his instrumentation and vocal abilities, as well as diving deeper into the world of songwriting and the role of melody within it. Researching and approaching music of all time with an empirical ear, he grasped the essential elements of melody's role, its exposure to it fresh and overtime, and its impact within every composition.

His journey was naturally breeding, shaping itself and forming a path to becoming a songwriter in control, to conglomerate his experience and his musical library to deliver a wave of emotion, coming closer to the unconscious desire to affect people with a flood of talent, consideration and integrity.
